Today we farewell Mr Jamie Chiu. Jamie has been teaching at Sunnybrae for the past two terms and we thank him for his contributions to the teaching and learning programme in Room 3. We wish him all the very best for the future.

4. PTA Fundraising Update
|
A big Sunnybrae thank you to everyone who has supported our PTA fundraising initiatives so far this year. We have raised a total of $7668.29 towards the $24,800 needed for our share of the new basketball court.
Of the $7668.29 the following amounts were raised in Term 2:
Jesters Pie Day – $292.50
Pyjama Day – $688.80
Contributions on MyKindo – $511.04

7. Community Engagement Cultural Focus Group
Meetings

A big thank you to those who came to support the Chinese cultural group meeting that was held on Wednesday this week. It is wonderful to have your support and to learn so much about the Chinese culture. Thank you for contributing your ideas for our front entrance panels.
The next cultural group meeting will be for our Indonesian, Thai, Bulgarian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Kurdish, Taiwanese and American families. It will be held on Thursday 4 August 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the staffroom. We invite our school community from these cultural groups to come along and join us.

If you live ‘in zone’ and have a child turning 5 this year, please make sure you enrol them as soon as possible. Please also encourage any new ‘in zone’ families to enrol their children as this helps us with future planning. For enrolment forms and further information you can choose from the following:
