Sport

We are looking forward to another exciting sporting year at Sunnybrae. Below is a list of the sports that will be offered during the year, along with the teacher that you can contact if you have any questions. Thank you to those who volunteered to coach and manage last year; we truly appreciate your assistance. Now is the time to start thinking about whether you can help out this year by coaching or managing. We will support you in any way that we can, however without a volunteer to coach, we are unable to enter teams into the various competitions.

Sport can provide a sense of belonging to a group and a community. Team sports encourage and develop leadership skills, cooperation, commitment and an ability to work with others to achieve a goal. Respecting the Fair Play Expectations is always a critical element of our sports programme.

All sports, except flippa ball, are played in a Sunnybrae Sports uniform, which can be purchased from the school office.

Please talk with your child about which sports they would like to get involved with this year and encourage them to have a go.

If there are other sporting codes that your child is interested in playing that you have heard about, please contact Laura or Kelsey with the information and we can see if there is enough interest to put a team together.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
