Year 6 Fun Day “Aah, that was fun, wasn’t it!” I thought. Yesterday was the Year 6 Fun Day. The highlight of the day was probably the giant slide. It was set up in the morning and there was as hose and dishwashing liquid that Mr Gordon squirted on the slide.
When it was our turn we initially sat down and pushed ourselves down. I was a bit nervous because I hadn’t went down before so I screamed a little. It was definitely worth the wait though. The next time some people went down on their stomachs doing the ‘superman’ slide and later like they were on a toboggan together. When I went down I pretended I was taking a nap. Then things became interesting as Miss Horgan, Mr Gordon and Mr Vella even decided to go down the slide ride.
Overall, this year’s Fun Day was very fun and when I was small I always saw the Year Six children sliding down the slide and now that I have experienced it, it was definitely worth the wait!
